Requirements

Role Overview,

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing Product & Tech team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with fellow data engineers and cross-functional teams to build and maintain a solid data infrastructure that powers insights across the company. You'll play a key role in improving our data reliability, structure, and availability, helping us scale effectively as we expand our global presence.


Main responsibilities, 

  • To build and maintain robust data structures , which is s crucial for our long-term strategy and operational success.

  • Collaborate with other departments to identify key data needs and translate them into effective and scalable solutions.

  • Understand the data needs of the company and plan along with other data engineers how to translate these needs into solid data structures.

  • Write the required ETLs/ELTs from scratch to help build an effective Data Warehouse.

  • Maintain the ELTs in dbt and ensure that daily/weekly executions run smoothly and without errors.

  • Manage the different resources used for writing, running, and maintaining our ELTs.

  • Establish sanity checks to catch data anomalies in the ETLs as early as possible.

  • Continuously improve our data structures.

Main requirements,

  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud-based data warehouses.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain ETLs/ELTs, ideally using dbt or similar frameworks.

  • Familiarity with modern data stacks and cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

  • A proactive and self-driven mindset, with a passion for solving complex problems through simple, scalable solutions.

  • Ability to manage projects independently and take ownership from start to finish.

  • Demonstrated leadership potential and the ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically.

  • Strong communication skills when interacting with internal clients and stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and adapting to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
