Job Overview

We’re a fast-growing, innovative beauty brand seeking a technically skilled and solutions-driven BI/Data Engineer to modernize and optimize our inventory and supply chain reporting systems. This role will play a key part in transforming manual planning processes into automated, scalable tools that power real-time insights and smarter business decisions.

You'll be the architect behind our inventory data infrastructure—building pipelines, dashboards, and tools that support daily planning and high-level reporting across the organization. Working closely with the Supply Chain team, you'll ensure data integrity and usability in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated data pipelines using SQL and ERP exports (NetSuite) to feed inventory and planning systems.
  • Replace or enhance current Excel-based dashboards with scalable BI solutions (e.g., Power BI).
  • Develop and maintain robust data models for inventory, procurement, demand, and supply planning.
  • Integrate data from multiple systems—ERP, spreadsheets, forecasts—into unified, actionable dashboards.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and performance across all reporting tools.
  • Collaborate closely with supply chain planners, operations, and executive leadership to ensure tools are intuitive, reliable, and insightful.
  • Lead the modernization and automation of all supply chain reporting processes.

Qualifications & Skills

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • 4+ years experience in a BI Engineer, Data Engineer, or Analytics Engineering role, preferably within CPG, beauty, or supply chain environments.
  • Expert-level SQL skills, including writing and optimizing complex queries from ERP and warehouse exports.
  • Proven experience with BI/dashboard tools like Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and VBA—must be able to improve and automate legacy macro-based workflows.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite, Netstock, and strong understanding of inventory/supply chain data.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with non-technical business teams.
  • Experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., dbt, Alteryx, Python scripting) is a plus.

A Plus if You Have

  • Experience in the beauty, fashion, or broader consumer goods industry.
  • Familiarity with demand planning processes, inventory KPIs, or MRP logic.
  • Prior experience transitioning from Excel-based tools to cloud-based BI platforms.
