We are seeking a talented Staff Software Engineer with expertise in Python and FastAPI to join our innovative team working on cutting-edge language model applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development and a passion for artificial intelligence and natural language processing. You will play a key role in developing and implementing AI-powered solutions using Anthropic's models and other large language models (LLMs). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI technology and shape the future of our products.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python FastAPI for AI-powered applicationsIntegrate and optimize LLM APIs, including Anthropic's models, into our existing infrastructureImplement efficient data processing pipelines to handle large-scale language model inputs and outputsDevelop RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between frontend applications and backend LLM services leveraging Python REST API frameworks such as Flask and FastAPIEnsure high performance, scalability, and security of our AI-powered applicationsParticipate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development practices and processesStay up-to-date with the latest advancements in LLM technology and propose innovative solutionsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)8+ years of experience in backend development using Python FastAPI and other frameworksStrong understanding of RESTful API design and implementationExperience working with large language models (e.g., GPT-3, BERT) and related APIsFamiliarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (knowledge of AWS Bedrock is a plus)Solid understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithmsExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelinesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and libraries for LLMsFamiliarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of machine learning concepts and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)Experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, Clickhouse)If you share our enthusiasm for the future of our company and are eager to contribute to our vibrant workplace, we look forward to receiving your application!
