Department Overview

The position is within the Procurement Operations Department of Rakuten Group, Inc. The Procurement Operations Department is responsible for the overall procurement operations of the Rakuten Group.

Position Details

As a Data/DOMO Specialist, you will be involved in the following tasks:
- Collection and analysis of internal procurement and purchasing data.
- Visualization of procurement processes and development of optimization strategies for business workflows.
- Construction and operation of dashboards using BI tools (such as DOMO).
- Automation of data aggregation and reporting (e.g., through DOMO implementation).
- Negotiation and coordination with related departments and stakeholders.

Work Environment

Around 80 people

Mandatory Qualifications:

At least one of the following experiences is required:
- Experience building and operating BI dashboards using DOMO (1+ years)*Highest Priority
- Practical experience with Python
- Experience using other BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Data extraction and processing skills using SQL
- Basic knowledge of data analysis (statistics, data visualization)
- Requirements definition and communication skills with business departments
- Experience analyzing procurement/purchasing data or accounting data (1+ years)
- Experience visualizing expenditure structures and proposing cost reduction measures

Desired Qualifications:

- Work experience in a procurement-related department
- Business-level English proficiency
