About the Role
Are you an analytical thinker with a passion for data and reporting? We’re looking for a highly motivated HSE Data Analyst to join our team on a fixed-term contract! Whether you’re seeking a full-time role for six months or a part-time opportunity for 12 months, this position is perfect for someone studying or looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
In this role, you’ll be instrumental in supporting data-driven decision-making and maintaining core system administrative services. You’ll work closely with the HSE Functional team and other departments, ensuring the effective use of data and systems for continuous improvement and data integrity. Your responsibilities will include maintaining dashboards, pulling insights into reports, and working within our system to extract and confirm data sources. You'll also dive into raw Excel data and transform it into actionable insights using Power BI.
We’re looking for someone who thrives on problem-solving, understands reporting and data analysis, and has the ability to refine systems to deliver impactful results. If you're based in Adelaide, you’ll have additional support available to help you excel in the role.

To be successful, you will bring:
- Australian Citizen with a Defence Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
- High Level of experience with SQL querying of databases.
- Experience in SharePoint forms and workflows (Nintex and Power Automate).
- Experience with MS applications such as Power BI, Power Queries, VBA in Excel and Access.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in computer science or a related discipline degree and/or equivalent qualification.
