Product Manager - Partnerships Team

London, UK (hybrid working)

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our Partnerships team.

We're hiring a Product Manager to supercharge our Partnerships team at iwoca! You'll shape our lending API, boost partner conversion, and streamline key workflows - all while building finance that works for small businesses. Hybrid in London.

The company

Imagine a world where every small business has the power to thrive. That's the world we're building at iwoca. Small businesses aren't just statistics – they're the heartbeat of our communities, the character of our high streets, and the engine of our economy. Since 2012, we've revolutionised how these businesses access finance, turning what was once a lengthy, frustrating process into something remarkable: funding that's fast, flexible, and actually works for modern businesses.

Our impact speaks for itself: we've provided billions in funding to over 150,000 businesses across Europe, making us one of the continent's leading fintech innovators. But we're just getting started. Our mission? To empower one million businesses with the financial tools they deserve.

We combine cutting-edge technology and data science with genuine human understanding to make finance feel less like a barrier and more like a superpower. Whether it's managing cash flow or seizing unexpected opportunities, we ensure businesses get the funds they need – often within minutes.

The team

The Partnerships team plays a key role in driving iwoca’s customer acquisition by delivering cutting-edge embedded finance solutions to small businesses through our powerful Lending API. Working with a diverse range of partners, from globally recognised names to dynamic micro businesses, helping them unlock new growth opportunities. The team is a mix of commercial, technical, and analytical experts, all united to maximise value from both new and existing partnerships. This role will collaborate closely with the Head of Partnerships, playing a pivotal part in accelerating the growth of our partnerships channel and taking iwoca’s impact to the next level.

The role

As the Product Manager, you’ll shape the roadmap, steer priorities with stakeholders, and lead a team through complex, high-impact problems. Working side by side with engineers and designers, you’ll turn insights into action, ship meaningful features fast, and learn from what works (and what doesn’t). It’s a role for someone who thrives on ownership, sharp thinking, and building products that deliver real impact.

The responsibilities

You’ll lead cross-functional product initiatives that shape how we serve partners and support teams. You’ll have the autonomy to run with complex problems, the space to develop deep expertise, and a clear purpose in driving meaningful outcomes, such as:

  • Rebuild our lending API for scale and impact: Lead the redesign of our core lending API to support new use cases, deeper integrations, and greater scale. You’ll work closely with engineers and partner teams to guide design choices, align stakeholders, and shape a platform that’s secure, scalable, and easy to work with.

  • Increase conversion across the partner journey: Uncover and resolve friction for partner-referred customers. Use funnel analysis, experiments, and user insights to shape product changes across the application form, decision engine, and CRM-boosting completion and approval rates.

  • Upgrade the Introducer Portal and partner tools: Improve how partners manage leads and track applications. You’ll lead work to simplify workflows, enhance the interface, and improve reporting - guided by user feedback and data.

  • Streamline support workflows for internal teams: Partner with internal teams to reduce manual effort and improve service quality. You’ll map processes, identify pain points, and deliver incremental improvements in systems like Salesforce, internal CRMs, or bespoke tools.

The requirements

Essential:

  • Professional experience in a product management or technical role.

  • Strategic and discovery-led: You are curious and proactively identify problems, shape solutions, and own the roadmap - aligning stakeholders and driving delivery from insight to impact.

  • A commercial mindset: You can understand the business’ priorities and how to generate maximum value from your developer resource.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You thrive in environments that require building relationships built on trust and expertise.

  • Strong data literacy and problem-solving skills.

Bonus:

  • A strong interest in tech solutions, and how tech is built (even if you’re not a developer)

  • A strong numerate background, i.e. maths, physics, statistics, computer science, or similar.

  • Experience with SQL, Python, or other programming languages.

  • Experience with financial products or fintech.

The salary

We expect to pay from £60,000 - £70,000 for this role. But, we’re open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly salary and performance reviews.

The culture

At iwoca, we prioritise a culture of learning, growth, and support, and invest in the professional development of our team members. We value diversity in thought and skill, and encourage you to explore new areas of interest to help us improve our products and services.

The offices

  • Offices in London, Leeds, Berlin, and Frankfurt with plenty of drinks and snacks.

  • Events and clubs, like bingo, comedy nights, yoga classes, football, etc.

The benefits

  • Flexible working.

  • Medical insurance from Vitality, including discounted gym membership.

  • A private GP service (separate from Vitality) for you, your partner, and your dependents.

  • 25 days’ holiday, an extra day off for your birthday, the option to buy or sell an additional five days of annual leave, and unlimited unpaid leave.

  • A one-month, fully paid sabbatical after four years.

  • 3% Pension contributions and share options.

  • Generous parental leave and a nursery tax benefit scheme to help you save money.

  • Cycle-to-work scheme and electric car scheme.

And to make sure we all keep learning, we offer:

  • A learning and development budget for everyone.

  • Company-wide talks with internal and external speakers.

  • Access to learning platforms like Treehouse.
