You will be joining the Data Center Revenue team within the FP&A function. This team is dedicated to leading strategic initiatives and optimizing revenue streams from data center operations.

Your Future Team

You will be joining the Data Center Revenue team within the FP&A function. This team is dedicated to leading strategic initiatives and optimizing revenue streams from data center operations and help our business partner manage our continual Cloud migration journey.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our Data Center revenue forecasting and reporting in alignment with business objectives

  • Own financial deliverables related to close, forecasting, and planning for the Data Center business and Cloud migration initaitives

  • Create clear and concise narratives grounded in data for highly visible monthly and quarterly reviews

  • Collaborate across the company to provide insight into our performance by influencing and leveraging the work of business and data science partners to identify and mitigate risks and upside opportunities

  • Partner with data science and analytics teams to ensure our infrastructure accurately and appropriately reflects transactions across our reporting and analytical applications

  • Lead the crafting and communication of the financial narrative to board and execs

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 10 years experience in finance, with the majority in financial planning and analysis in tech, consulting or banking

  • Strong financial modeling skills and an understanding of business metrics

  • Demonstrated experience drawing upon insights to tell a compelling story using data

  • Leading and managing cross-functional partners

  • Experience engaging and providing financial support to senior business partners

  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

  • Experience working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment

  • A curiosity to learn and the initiative to act

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technology or Software / SaaS industry experience, great to have marketplace business experience

  • Experience with managing team of one or more

  • Experience with topline forecasting in tech

  • Experience working with Sales and Revenue Accounting teams

  • Experience working with a variety of planning tools, finance systems, and BI tools (eg Anaplan, SQL)

  • Hold a degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance or related field

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $194,400 - $259,200

Zone B: $175,000 - $233,300

Zone C: $161,400 - $215,100

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
