Software Engineer II, Education and Activation

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  
• Ability to communicate in English fluently to interact with local stakeholders in this customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience in developing accessible technologies.
• Experience with building products that use Large Language Model (LLMs) and Machine Learning (ML).
• Experience with Google application building platforms.

In this role, you will be working with User Experience (UX), Product Manager (PM), and other engineers to build products across multiple education projects as well as incorporating the machine learning technologies in the process of supercharging Software Engineer's (SWE's) productivity.The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. Responsibilities

• Work with UX, PM, and engineering peers on prioritization, design, and implementation of platform and product features.
• Write design documents, and provide feedback on teammates design documents.
• Help investigate and resolve production issues.
• Help shape the culture of the team and promote psychological safety.
