We’re looking for an AI Lead to join our team on a secondment basis through to the end of June 2026.

About the role

As the AI Lead, you’ll be responsible for developing and supporting AI roadmaps aligned with our organisational strategies, while fostering adoption of AI tools across the business. You’ll lead pilot programmes to showcase AI capabilities and work hands-on in designing, developing and deploying machine learning models and algorithms. 

You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—Digital, Sales, Tech, Customer Service, and Technical Services—to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions and contribute to a culture of innovation through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

 Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  •  Designing and implementing AI strategies and roadmaps aligned with organisational goals
  • Leading pilot programmes to demonstrate the value of AI technologies
  • Developing, testing, and deploying AI models and machine learning algorithms
  • Ensuring the reliability and accuracy of AI solutions through rigorous validation
  • Integrating AI technologies into existing systems and business processes
  • Promoting adoption of AI tools to improve team productivity and performance
  • Conducting advanced data analysis and deliver actionable insights
  • Researching emerging AI trends and share knowledge to support a culture of innovation

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience developing and deploying AI/ML models
  • Strong programming skills (Python, R, or Java preferred)
  • Demonstrated expertise with large datasets and data analysis techniques
  • Experience integrating AI into existing enterprise systems
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience leading change and driving adoption of AI tools
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to think both strategically and analytically
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related discipline
  • Relevant certifications in AI and machine learning are highly regarded
