There is not a better time to come and join the Captify business if you are passionate about data and insights. We are hiring for a maternity cover role in our insights department for Australia and looking for an experienced leader to join the team.
Our partners globally recognise the power of our insights; Captify’s actionable insights play a crucial role for our brands and advertisers on a daily basis. Captify’s dedicated division –Sight team, provides our clients with high quality insights that enable them to increase their understanding of their marketing effectiveness and refine their strategies for success. Captify achieves this by uniquely exploring dimensions including search intent signals, consumer interests, product perception, inner life moments and direct and indirect influences. At the heart of this is Captify’s unique Semantic Technology, which analyses over 1 billion daily searches outside the walled gardens to power insights and media on every channel and on every device.
This candidate will be managing the Insight Strategist within the Sight team and responsible for leading the function in delivery of high-quality insights and data visualisations. They will work closely with Sales and Client service teams servicing AU’s largest advertisers. This role focuses on delivering to our clients’ objectives; from RFP’s and media pitches through to campaign analytics and bespoke projects, focusing on developing the analytics approach needed to deliver actionable Insight stories to clients. The Insight Lead is required to have a knack for translating analysis into compelling stories to assist the commercial team in client wins.
This will of course centre on using the extensive data assets at the core of Captify, analysing all the search term and ad campaign data. A portion of the data analysis is automated via our Sense platform, however there is a significant opportunity to conduct exploratory analysis, develop and test hypotheses and continually innovate through curiosity as no client is the same. Visualisation is critical, we are firm believers of being able to story tell and inspire our clients for longstanding partnership success stories.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to be a subject expert in media analytics, marketing effectiveness, media measurement and consumer insights
Manage the Insights Strategist, focusing on development, training and upskilling
Working closely and consultatively with Sales/Client Service teams to define client Insight scope and manage pipeline of projects
Collaborate with Global Strategy and the Business Development team to form external partnerships with other adtech, media owner, and media agencies
Effectively manage workloads and delivery of projects to defined SLA’s within a fast-paced environment
Maintaining a consistency of high level quality to all projects; across analysis, commentary and visualisation
Be comfortable presenting your work to agencies
Working with the Global product team to define future platform insight automations and requirements to increase efficiency
Collaborate with Marketing team in producing case studies and ongoing thought leadership papers
Critically appraising the effectiveness of Insight in delivering increased client revenue through win rates/upweights and account growth
Participate in the planning and design of new reporting and analysis products for internal and external use.
Communicate research findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders internally and externally
Help build a dynamic and thriving insight community, globally
REQUIREMENTS
What you need to be successful:
Proven experience as a people manager and has worked in a cross-functional role
Exposure to working with adserver, programmatic or digital analytics data for at least 2yrs
A consumer insights and marketing effectiveness background with experience gained in an agency, digital media owner, client, or ad technology environment
High level knowledge of advanced analytics techniques such as clustering, regression, attribution, and significance testing
A passion and curiosity in the data and technology space, continually innovating and driving solutions
Excellent communication skills: influencing and working effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders - asking intelligent questions and able to translate analysis into compelling stories - making complex data analysis clear and impactful
Bachelor degree in Maths, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent
Proven commercial experience with statistical analysis and experiment design
Proficient experience with SQL and Python. Desirable experience with Databricks platform
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint acumen
Exposure and working understanding of BI tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio etc.
