Asset Data Specialist

• 12 month fixed term contract
• Based from Parramatta with flexibility to work hybrid
• EA 11 - $121,315.89 + super pa
• 38 hours per week and eligible for 1 RDO per month

About the role:

Help Sydney Water deliver world class services and help make the lives of over four million customers better by joining our team as an Asset Data Specialist. The role involves creating and updating various types of asset and spatial data, including land ownership, buildings, infrastructure, and geographic information, following specific management standards

What you will be doing: 

• Ensure asset information management services meet agreed Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
• Execute, monitor, and adapt processes for timely and effective service delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet their needs and expectations.
• Participate in process and system improvements to enhance business efficiency and risk management.
• Create, modify, and manage asset and spatial data according to standards and policies.

Your Experience and Qualifications:

Ideally you will hold tertiary qualifications in information management, engineering, information technology, or related discipline.

• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management systems and processes – ideally with Maximo, Smallworld GIS and, Enterprise Drawing Management System (EDMS) or similar
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in asset data and information management to support business processes and implement ongoing improvements..
• Ability to foster innovation, training and knowledge retention for asset information lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and Power BI or equivalent visualization applications.
