Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Management Analyst
In this role, you will:
- Organize and lead complex companywide initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes
- Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements
- Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues
- Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
- Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of data governance standards and procedures
- Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data
- Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members
- Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
- Serve as relationship manager for a line of business
- Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility
- Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution

- Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
- Help analyzing the data streamlining to simplify overall data extraction Data Wrangling, Data Analysis leveraging internal data platforms which include SOR’s (like AIMS, AFS etc.,) , CLOS’s (nCino etc.,), data lakes & aggregators like IHUD, WDM, WCDIR etc.,
Responsible to provide various Regulatory reports like Schedule H (C&I, CRE loans), Large Corporation Syndicated Credits, Small Loan cost survey (FR2028D), HC-L, 14M and Leverage Lending
These reports require an in-depth knowledge of various accounting terms like Invoice Factoring, fronting, Swinglines, Commitment to Commit and Disposition
Work with the various upstream systems to standardize data and support the data for FR Y-14 Regulatory reporting function of Commercial Banking.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience:
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, accuracy, and data wrangling
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
- Knowledge and understanding of data governance challenges and approaches: metadata, data quality, and data stewardship
- Ability to manipulate data from non-normalized or disparate data sources
- Documentation of the updated logic for regulatory audit needs
- Ownership & Accountability for Delivery
- Experience in Commercial Lending Systems
- Knowledge in 14Q Regulatory Reporting space
Technical Expertise:
- Experience in SQL – Teradata
- Good knowledge & experience in JIRA or any Defect Management Tool
- Good knowledge & experience in Agile Project Management Tools
- MS Office suite
- Exposure to Data Visualization Tools like Tableau/Power BI is a plus

- Good Verbal & Written Communication
- Ability & Compatibility to work with US Geography from India Time Zone
- Ability to work independently and handle large scale deliveries

Job Expectations:
- 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- Experience analyzing data defects, identifying the root cause and defining the remediation options.
- Experience working with complex datasets using SQL
- Experience working in Commercial Banking and Lending Data (CBL) Domain at Wells Fargo
- Regulatory Reporting Experience is a plus - FRY 14, FRY 9C, BASEL, FFIEC, FR 2052a, BSA/AML..etc
- Prior experience with Wells Fargo CBL data domain is a plus (e.g.: iHub, AFS, LIQ, AIMS, CHOICE, LUCAS, WCDIR, WCIS, PBC, LVT)
- Proficiency in written skills to author requirements documents, specifications and training documents.
- Ability to develop business metadata and data dictionaries
- Must demonstrate strong communication skills including Management Reporting (good with Power Point skills).
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
