Duties: Assemble, lead and mentor a staff of technically competent, thoughtful, and customer-centric technology experts. This includes ensuring the team adheres to sound principles of data engineering within their technical domain, applying consistency to technical solutions, embracing, and sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in an Engineering-related occupation.
Position required skills: Financial, marketing and customer profile data; Complex interactions between data assets, data platforms and data pipelines to effectively deliver business solutions; Designing business applications and products using privileged data; Ab-initio to design, develop, cleanse, transform, summarize, and integrate data from multiple sources to multiple targets; Manage migration of ETL processes from relational warehouse databases to Amazon Web Services (AWS) based solutions; Develop real-time data ingestion and stream-analytic solutions by leveraging technologies, including Ab-initio, Teradata, and Python; Perform tuning of complex SQLs using Teradata, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server databases; and Perform code review of ETL designs and graphs. Two years of people Leadership is also required.
Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program
Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $147,472.00 to $180,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
