Job Location: 

This is a hybrid position, with the ability to work in Arlington, VA 2 days a week.

Clearance:

Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Job Description:

Blake Willson Group is seeking an intern to join our dynamic Process Automation and AI team. This internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a consulting environment focused on process improvement, automation, and artificial intelligence (AI). The ideal candidate will be curious, proactive, and eager to explore emerging technologies to support real-world business needs. In this position, you will also:

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of process automation solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation and AI integration opportunities.
• Conduct research and summarize findings on emerging AI tools and trends.
• Support the development and testing of AI models and algorithms.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and solutions.
• Document project milestones, findings, and outcomes for internal reporting.

Required Skills:

• Currently enrolled in high school or college with an academic focus in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in process automation, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI systems.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Self-motivated and organized with attention to detail.

Desired Skills:

• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or C++).
• Exposure to or coursework in AI, data science, or automation tools.
