We are looking for a Jr. Software Engineer to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions!  This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.

In this role, you’ll join a team focused on platform validation for next-generation hardware devices. As a Software Engineer, you will help build automation tools and reporting frameworks that support testing and validation efforts for cutting-edge technology. You’ll spend most of your time writing code and improving testing pipelines, with light meeting cadence to support collaboration. This is a hands-on development role ideal for engineers passionate about automation, device testing, and modern tooling.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software tools used for platform validation and automated testing.
  • Implement and customize test automation systems to support evolving hardware and firmware validation needs.
  • Write clean, scalable code in C# and Python, contributing to the development of internal test platforms and reporting mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with peers during twice-weekly standups and ad hoc technical reviews.
  • Review specifications, analyze enhancement requests, and provide solutions aligned with quality standards and deadlines.
  • Conduct unit testing, validate software implementations, and resolve bugs during post-deployment testing.
  • Prepare migration packages and participate in quality assurance reviews.
  • Analyze performance metrics and deliver improvements to tooling and system reliability.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and Python (minimum 2 years each).
  • Solid experience with automation tools and frameworks (minimum 2 years).
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Experience building or enhancing system software or utilities in a production environment.
  • Experience with debugging, unit testing, and issue resolution in both new and legacy systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent work experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on platform validation or device testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with hardware/software integration workflows.
  • Exposure to modern AI-assisted or intelligent automation tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced development environment.
  • Prior experience developing tools for internal engineering teams or infrastructure automation.

Salary Range

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic-based ranges for Washington state: $75,000 to $85,000 USD annually, with a midpoint of $80,000. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.

Location: Hybrid – Based in Redmond, WA, with an on-site requirement of 3 days per week.
