AirGarage
AirGarage provides full-service parking management for property owners, offering parking solutions that streamline operations and maximize revenueAbout AirGarage
AirGarage is repurposing the 30% of real estate in the average American city currently dedicated to parking.
We are building a future where real estate is digitized and can be transitioned from one use to another seamlessly on-demand, moving every piece of urban real estate toward its highest and best use.
We are starting with the $131 billion US parking real estate market because it is one of the most offline and mismanaged commercial real estate asset types.
As a full-stack parking operator, we automate the operation of parking lots and parking garages. We handle everything from advertising to collecting payments from drivers and enforcing against illegal parking. We already operate 300+ parking lots and parking garages across 38 US states and we are growing quickly.
We are backed by top tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Floodgate, Founders Fund, and angel investors who have founded or worked at companies like Uber, Opendoor, Flexport, and more.

The Role
As a Data Analyst at AirGarage, you’ll be a core part of a growing data team that operates similar to internal consultants. You’ll plug into high-impact initiatives across the business by helping partner teams unlock efficiency and growth through data.
You’ll work cross-functionally with GTM, Product, Operations, and other teams to uncover insights, build tools and dashboards, and drive strategic recommendations. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor with high agency and a proactive mindset, someone who thrives in ambiguity and can independently navigate complex problems with clarity.
You’ll be joining a centralized data function alongside a BizOps Data Analyst and an Analytics Engineer. Together, we’re laying the foundation for a team that’s consultative, strategic, and deeply embedded across the business.
Checkout our data stack and learn how we are driving a data-drive culture at AirGarage.
Who You Are
You don’t just crunch numbers, you tell stories. You know how to distill messy data into clear insights and actionable narratives that business teams can rally around.
You thrive in cross-functional environments. You’re comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders, both non-technical and technical, and adjusting your communication based on the audience.
You know how to find signals in noise. Whether it’s pipeline conversion or operational inefficiencies, you know where to dig and how to frame the problem.
You work independently. You don’t need hand-holding to start a project, find the information you need within the company, or ship a valuable solution.
You understand tools, but care about outcomes. You know SQL, Snowflake, and how to create dashboards, but your focus is on impact, not just implementation.
You’re scrappy and adaptable. In a startup environment, you move fast, figure things out, and aren’t afraid to go from high-level strategy to hands-on execution.
You’re energized by ambiguity. You love being given a vague problem and figuring out how to define, structure, and solve it.
You're excited about driving the business forward. You'll work directly with the Chief Data Officer, CEO, CTO, VP of Operations, and VP of Sales on important projects.
What You Will Do
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their goals, surface the right metrics, and deliver insights that drive decision-making.
Build and maintain dashboards and reports in tools like Sigma and Snowflake to help teams monitor performance, uncover trends, and identify opportunities.
Use SQL and Snowflake to dig into data, perform analyses, and support strategic initiatives across the company.
Leverage Polytomic and dbt to streamline data flows and improve access to clean, reliable data for business users.
Act as a consultative partner - you’ll be embedded in different projects across functions, but stay connected to the centralized data team for best practices and shared context.
Drive your own projects end-to-end: identifying needs, exploring data, communicating findings, and supporting implementation.
Create scalable tools and templates so teams can self-serve more easily and reduce ad-hoc bottlenecks.
What You Need
5–8 years of experience in an analyst or business intelligence role, ideally in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Strong SQL skills and comfort working with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.
Experience building dashboards and reports in tools like Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent BI platforms.
Familiarity with a modern data stack: we use Snowflake, dbt, Polytomic, and Sigma.
Great communication skills - you can explain technical concepts to business stakeholders and frame insights with business context.
High ownership mindset - you’re proactive, curious, and driven to make a meaningful impact, even when the path isn’t perfectly clear.
🚨 WHY THIS ROLE MAY NOT BE FOR YOU
We’re still in the early stages of building our data function. That means lots of opportunity but also a lack of structure. If you’re looking for a highly defined role with rigid lanes and top-down direction, this likely won’t be a fit.
Here’s why you might not want this job:
You need a clear playbook or lots of oversight. We’re looking for someone who can take initiative and figure things out.
You’re not comfortable working across departments. You’ll regularly engage with GTM, Ops, and other teams - we need someone who enjoys that level of collaboration.
You want a large team or lots of internal data support. For now, we’re a lean group of 3. You’ll be rolling up your sleeves and doing the work yourself.
You prefer being a behind-the-scenes analyst. We need someone who’s excited to be visible, plugged into the business, and comfortable presenting recommendations to stakeholders.
You expect perfect data and mature systems. We’re still building. You’ll help clean, model, and structure data as we grow.
Why This Role is Exciting
You’ll have a real impact. Your work will directly shape decisions that affect revenue, operations, and company strategy.
Be part of building something from the ground up. Help define the culture, processes, and tooling of the data team from an early stage.
Cross-functional visibility. You’ll get exposure to every corner of the business and become a trusted partner to multiple departments.
Fast growth potential. As we scale, so will your opportunity for ownership and advancement.
Opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools. We have a modern data stack and are leaning into AI tools like Cursor and pursuing new techniques like semantic layers that accelerate our productivity and impact.
