SAP BI DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• You will monitor and maintain BI systems in BASF’s private cloud, collaborate with the SAP Basis team, and perform regular housekeeping and testing tasks. 
• You will learn and support efficient operations of cloud-based BI services like SAP Datasphere.
• You will contribute to BI projects through custom software development and manage development tasks with internal or external teams. You will support master data management and user authorization processes to ensure secure and accurate data handling
• You will create and maintain rules, guidelines, and best practices for the DevOps community within the BI environment.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, Business Informatics or in a comparable field
• Minimum 4 years working experience in IT roles.
• Experienced in SAP BW/4HANA backend, hands on in ABAP/ABAP OO in SAP BW environment.
• Experienced collaborating with SAP Basis team and application teams in BI.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge in native SQL, SAP AMDP, SAP HANA databases, HABA native development, SAP Datasphere and  SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Experience working agile with a DevOps mindset.
