Welcome Home!We’re more than Canada’s largest independent hardware and building supplies retailer—we’re part of communities across the nation.  Building Strong DataAs the Data Governance Analyst- ERP, you will support the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 by creating and maintaining data governance frameworks, policies, and processes to support efficient, secure and accurate data management throughout the ERP implementation lifecycle and beyond. Led by the Director, ERP- ETL and Data Governance this opportunity will best suit someone who enjoys collaborating and can design, document and implement data governance policies.   Ready to make an impact?   • Design, implement, and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitor and enforce data quality standards (accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness) across D365 ERP datasets. Develop and manage data cleansing and validation processes.
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data (e.g., customer, vendor, product, and financial data) to ensure consistency and reliability within D365.
  • Ensure data governance practices comply with Canadian regulations and industry standards; collaborate with IT to implement data access controls and protect sensitive information.
  • Work with key stakeholders and technical teams to define data requirements, map data flows, and resolve data-related issues during the D365 implementation.
  • Provide training to end-users and stakeholders on data governance best practices and D365 data usage.
  • Support data migration, integration, and transformation activities during the D365 implementation, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to governance standards.
  • Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for data quality and governance.
  • Provide regular reports to leadership on data governance progress and risks.
 We’re looking for:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Data Management with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing data governance policies for D365 F&O and SCM, ensuring compliance with Canadian privacy laws (e.g., PIPEDA).
  • Proficiency in managing data quality, defining KPIs, and authoring governance reports.
  • In-depth knowledge of D365 F&O and SCM data structures, workflows, configurations, and master data management (MDM).
  • Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview) for policy enforcement and metadata management.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, mapping, and ETL processes to support D365 migration and integration.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to identify data issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver training on governance best practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power Query, SQL, Power BI) and exposure to Azure DevOps.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced ERP environment, using Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid methodologies.
  • The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
