The Role
We’re hiring our first Head of Marketing to architect and lead Spara’s marketing function from scratch. This is a foundational role, you’ll own our brand, build the GTM engine, and shape how the market understands the future of AI-powered sales conversion.
This is a rare blank canvas opportunity with high-growth opportunity.
What You’ll Do
Build and execute Spara’s first integrated marketing strategy across brand, demand gen, content, and lifecycle
Define and own category positioning: AI Conversion Layer
Drive demand across channels: paid, organic, events, ABM, and partnerships
Launch and scale a high-performance content engine, landing pages, case studies, social, one-pagers, ads
Apply B2C-style storytelling to B2B audiences to create emotional resonance
Use AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Clay, Heyreach) to scale campaigns and automate workflows
Partner closely with sales, product, and RevOps to ensure GTM alignment
Recruit, lead, and grow a world-class marketing team
You Might Be a Fit If You
Have 8+ years of full-stack B2B marketing experience, including brand, demand gen, and product marketing
Thrive in zero-to-one environments, and love building with limited resources
Speak the language of modern B2B buyers, and apply B2C tactics where others wouldn’t
Have a track record of owning pipeline and revenue, not just MQLs. You are the conversion layer.
Know how to experiment fast, learn from data, and scale what works
Are comfortable with AI tools and automation and use them daily
Communicate crisply, write exceptionally, and present with clarity and energy
Are NYC-based and open to work in the office 4 days/week
Core Skills & Qualifications
Strategy & Execution
Proven ownership of GTM strategy and revenue goals
Experience with category design or brand repositioning
Deep understanding of the B2B marketing funnel
Growth & Demand Generation
Experience scaling across paid, ABM, SEO, social, and partner channels
Expertise in lifecycle marketing, email strategy, and CRM-driven workflows
Familiarity with intent data and conversion optimization best practices
Content & Storytelling
Exceptional writing and positioning skills
Ability to turn complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives
Strong portfolio of content that drives measurable results
Technical & AI-Native
Experience with HubSpot, LinkedIn Ads, and core Marketing tools
Comfortable leveraging AI tools for research, production, and personalization
Confident with funnel analytics, dashboarding, and attribution
Leadership & Collaboration
Strong cross-functional operator with experience aligning with product, sales, and ops
Prior experience hiring and managing small, agile teams
Early-stage mindset: proactive, self-directed, and resourceful
