What you'll do

As an Intern Software Engineer, you will work closely with our engineering team in France at Issy-Les-Moulineaux. Your primary focus will be supporting the AI Tooling Optimization project. You will assist in research, development, testing, and documentation related to implementing AI-driven improvements to our tooling. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI applications in software engineering and contribute to a real-world project with significant impact. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and learn about the software development lifecycle in a dynamic Agile environment. This position has no management responsibilities.

This position is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Responsibility:

• Assist in researching AI techniques and their application to software development tooling

• Support the development and testing of AI-powered features for existing tools

• Contribute to the creation of datasets and evaluation metrics for AI models

• Participate in team meetings and code reviews

• Learn and apply best practices for software development and AI implementation

• Work with Product Management, Designer, UX Research and other developers to understand and convert requirements into design requirements and provide estimates for development

• Stay updated with the latest AI development trends and share your findings with the team

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or equivalent
• Interest in AI and its applications in software engineering
• Fluency in English
• Basic understanding of software development concepts
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, .NET/C#, JavaScript)

Preferred:

• Strong organizational, problem-solving skills, and can-do attitude
• Great oral/written communication skills
• Interest in learning about cloud services and distributed systems
• Passion for learning new software technologies and AI techniques and for sharing knowledge
