About the job
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Data Product Lead for Commercial Analytics to define and drive the analytics strategy and execution across our commercial business units. This role plays a critical part in transforming commercial insights into actionable value. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of commercial business processes in the FMCH industry, a strategic mindset for data-driven decision-making, and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale analytics solutions with demonstrable business value outcomes. The Data Product Lead for Commercial Analytics will join the Global Digital Data & Analytics team.
Main Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring a deep understanding of business needs and the translation of those needs into data products.
Analytics Roadmap Ownership: Define, evolve, and manage the commercial analytics roadmap in close collaboration with business stakeholders covering descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
Value Realization: Identify and prioritize use cases that drive measurable business value, applying a value-centric approach to analytics.
Set up High Performance Analytics Teams: Design and lead a high-performance analytics team with required skills: Data Architects, Data engineers, Data Scientists, Visualization experts, etc.
KPI Definition & Alignment: Lead the definition and governance of commercial analytics KPIs to ensure business-relevant and outcome-driven metrics.
Solution Architecture: Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable analytics solutions, defining the architecture, governance, delivery models, and technical teams.
Data Governance: Advocate and enforce best practices in data quality, metadata management, data cataloging, and overall data stewardship.
Project & Vendor Management: Oversee agile project delivery, vendor relationships, and budget execution.
About you:
Functional Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 15+ years in commercial analytics, with 5 + years in a lead or product ownership role within data and analytics.
Strategic Product Leader with a strong background in digital and data product management within complex global environments, combining analytical thinking and a proven ability to deliver measurable business value through commercial analytics initiatives.
Commercial Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of commercial business processes including sales, marketing, customer engagement, and their supporting analytics frameworks.
Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to influence, align, and collaborate with senior business leaders, technical teams, and external partners and Excellent communication skils.
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Technical Requirements
Solution Delivery & Data Expertise
Hands-on experience delivering end-to-end analytics solutions.
Familiar with key data sources like SAP, Salesforce, IQVIA, and TRAX.
Data & Analytics Tools
Strong grasp of data science methods for commercial use cases.
Proficient in Snowflake, Power BI, and ETL tools like IICS and DBT.
Exposure to AI/ML platforms such as AWS Sagemaker and Azure ML.
Architecture & Governance
Skilled in data governance, quality, lineage, and metadata management.
Project & Collaboration Tools
Experienced in agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Teams, and Slack.
Soft and Behavioral Skills:
Proven leader with experience managing diverse, global teams and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Strong communicator with a service-oriented mindset, cultural sensitivity, and a proactive, problem-solving approach. Known for taking initiative, driving alignment, and delivering results in dynamic environments.
