Responsibilities

 

THE ROLE:

The GPU Virtualization team works directly with Cloud Service Providers like AWS and Microsoft to unleash the power of the latest graphics processors in the cloud. We develop kernel driver software for professional, server-grade GPUs, such as AMD Radeon Pro V720, allowing a single GPU to be shared by up to 36 Virtual Machines.

 

Testing the latest virtualization driver on multiple platforms while working in a fast-growing team with industry experts. The candidate will be helping with qualification of our products including performance analysis, functional testing, and power measurements.

  

THE PERSON:

A successful candidate will have extensive experience in test methodology. Will help design and implement automation strategies to streamline the testing process. The role requires closely working with development and product teams to understand requirements, develop test plans, and create automated solutions for various Virtual Environments.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and execute test cases for GPU Virtualization.
  • Create and maintain automation test framework for KVM/HYPER-V/VMWare hypervisor.
  • Analyze and narrow down issues found during test.
  • Conduct sanity test, integration test, solution test, Performance test, stress test.
  • Reproduce and analyze issues reported by customers.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Windows PowerShell, GoLang.
  • Experience with software development process and tools such as debuggers and source code control systems a plus.
  • Knowledge of KVM/HYPER-V/VMWARE is a plus.
  • Strong understanding & Hands-on experience with Linux OS.
  • Hands-on issue debugging skills, issue isolation with Linux Kernel, Driver Module level.
  • Understanding of parallel programming, ideally OpenCL, ROCm, CUDA, and Open ACC is a plus.
  • Understanding machine learning, artificial intelligence, computer vision technologies is a plus.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS/MS/Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or an equivalent.
