The Mambu Data Insights team is at the forefront of leveraging big data and AI to unlock significant value for our customers. We are building a greenfield platform focused on processing and analyzing data at massive scale to provide actionable insights. This is an opportunity to join a foundational team and contribute to a product with significant potential impact on our customers' success and Mambu's growth.

What you’ll do

As a member of the Mambu Data Insights team, you will play a key role in building and scaling our data platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. This includes

• Building data processing solutions to handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

• Developing and optimizing data models within our data lakehouse environment.

• Implementing and improving infrastructure as code for data platform components.

• Contributing to the operational stability and monitoring of the data platform.

• Collaborating with product managers and other engineers to understand data needs and deliver solutions that enable data-driven insights for our customers.

• Assisting with the integration of the data platform with other internal systems.

What you’ll bring

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in data engineering or a related field.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Experience working with data lakes or data warehousing concepts.

• Experience working within cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Experience with data modeling and building ETL/ELT pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg.

• Experience with Java.

• Experience operating large-scale data lakes.

• Experience with Apache Spark.

• Familiarity with machine learning or large language models concepts.
