AI Engineer – LLM & Workflow Orchestration

The AI Engineer will be responsible for building AI-powered applications, agents, and workflows that bring insights into action. This role sits at the intersection of LLMs, data systems, and backend engineering to deliver intelligent, explainable, and scalable tools for Philips teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy AI agents using tools like LangChain, OpenAI API, and FastAPI
• Develop RAG pipelines that connect LLMs to Philips’ internal knowledge and data
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to embed model outputs into workflows
• Design APIs and microservices for AI tools used by business teams
• Ensure responsible AI usage, including traceability and human-in-the-loop controls

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in AI engineering, ML Ops, or backend development
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, LangChain, HuggingFace, or Azure OpenAI
• Strong Python skills, and experience with FastAPI, Docker, and vector databases
• Understanding of enterprise integration and security best practices

Example Use Cases You’ll Support:

• Agentic AI assistants that orchestrate tasks, retrieve data, and provide guided decision support
• AI copilots for delivery, compliance, or R&D knowledge search
• RAG-powered internal search tools with business-specific context
