Chubb launched its third Engineering Center in Thessaloniki in 2022. Our rapidly expanding new Chubb Engineering Center in Greece (CECG) is integrated with the Engineering Centers in India and Mexico to support our global technology needs and digital business transformation, as well as the company's operations in the Europe - Middle East - Africa region operating in 27 countries.

Chubb is seeking a talented and experienced individual to act as Cloud – DevOps Engineer. This is a rare opportunity to apply your designing cloud solutions that meet business needs, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Moreover, the selected person is going to implement cloud services and migrate existing applications. More specifically: 

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
• Deploy and manage microservices and applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure App Services.
• Implement and maintain DevSecOps practices with tools like SonarQube, Nexus, and vulnerability scanners.
• Use Grafana, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights to track performance and reliability metrics.
• Employ AI-based tools and scripts to automate operational tasks, enhance observability, and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate across global squads in EMEA, APAC, and LATAM, supporting shared infrastructure practices and release processes.
• Configure and manage AKAMAI (CDN, WAF) and firewalls to support secure and performant web application delivery.
• Respond to and resolve production issues, participate in incident reviews, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all deployments and system changes align with Chubb’s security, compliance, and audit requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in a DevOps or SRE role with hands-on experience in:
• Azure AKS, App Services, and related Azure PaaS components
• CI/CD automation with Jenkins, GitHub, and scripting
• Monitoring with Grafana, Azure Monitor, and App Insights
• Code quality and artifact management using SonarQube and Nexus
• AKAMAI WAF/CDN and firewall configuration in enterprise environments
• Proven track record of working with distributed global teams, especially across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
• Experience using AI tools for automating DevOps tasks is a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, team collaboration, and stakeholder communication.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries.
• Exposure to microservices, event-driven architectures, or MLOps practices.
• Familiarity with enterprise governance, change control, and compliance processes.
