HR Analytics Developer

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Human Resources Analytics Developer designs, develops, and implements systems and tools to analyze HR data to provide insights and optimize HR processes and strategies. Involves gathering, cleaning, transforming data, building reports and dashboards, developing predictive models, and coding.

Primary Tasks:

​1.   Utilize programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) to extract, transform, and load HR data, automate reporting processes, and build custom analytics solutions. 

2.  Standardize data collection by designing, and developing methods for Data Extraction, Data Transformation, and Data Load processes. Build Data Models across multiple data sources.

3.  Apply advanced statistical techniques to solve complex HR challenges and develop predictive models.

4.  Create, customize and maintain clear and concise data visualizations and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and reliability, to effectively equip the People Analytics Team to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders. 

5.   Conducts research and establishes predictive reporting related to recruiting, retention, growth, performance, team effectiveness, and leadership effectiveness connected to business needs.

6.    Equips the People Analytics Team with both quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can proactively inform HR strategies and decisions.

7.    Review and enhance HR data security measures to ensure transparency while protecting sensitive and confidential data.

8.     Partner with HR and other departments to better understand reporting needs and gaps.

9.     Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

• ​Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics or related field or four (4) years of equivalent experience.
• Advanced level in data architecture, data science, PowerBI and SQL code development, data modeling and cleaning/preparation.
• Advanced technical skills in data analysis, and proficiency in HRIS systems (ORACLE)
• Ability to maintain confidential salary and personal information
• Ability to build tools to identify and analyze trends from periodic data and depict relationships graphically over time
• Five (5) years of broad functional experience in Data Analytics and SQL.
