St. Norbert College, a nationally-ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college invites applications for a Visiting Instructor of Data Analytics. This position is benefit-eligible.

The Instructor will be responsible for teaching seven 4-credit courses each year in the Data Analytics major and minor, and in the Business Administration foundational core. The ability to effectively teach the following is required: Basic computing skills for new freshman such as file management and installing applications for both MacOS & Windows; Excel skills such as keyboard shortcuts, functions, and Power Query; R skills such as data summarization, wrangling, and visualization using the tidyverse; basic Tableau skills including connecting to data and creating dashboards; and Python skills including data summarization, wrangling, and visualization using pandas. The ability to teach basic statistical modeling techniques such as linear regression and/or cluster analysis, and advanced statistical learning modeling skills including regression, classification, machine learning is highly desirable.

The position is for a three-year contract contingent on positive annual reviews of performance and institutional need, with the possibility of renewal. A Master's degree in a relevant field is required; an ABD or doctorate is preferred.
