About the Role:

We are seeking an Analytics Development and Data Visualization Expert to drive the development of our Analytics solutions, including dashboards and reports. This role is pivotal in driving optimization through meaningful insights across our People and Workforce Analytics Metrics.. The ideal candidate will manage analytics initiatives, create and maintain dashboards and reports, and possess deep proficiency in Workday Reporting and Dashboard, PRISM, Microsoft Power BI, Fabric and external Analytics platforms such as Once Model.

Kyndryl is a global, largely remote company, where you join a group of 40 People and Workforce Analytics professionals and lead a team of data analytics developers. We are fast, flat, and focused: you will engage with senior leadership, a diverse group of HR professionals, fellow data scientists and analysts as well as business leaders to ensure our insights are both scientifically rigorous and aligned with our business goals. Your work will directly influence our enterprise strategy and operations, impacting tens of thousands of employees. 

What you will do: 

As the Director, Analytics Development and Data Visualization you’ll be specifically responsible for:

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analytics developers.

• Foster a fun, focused, collaborative, and innovative team environment.

• Set clear goals and expectations, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.

Technical Expertise:

• Utilize advanced development and data visualization techniques, leveraging Business Intelligence, Analytics Platforms (One Model, Workday PRISM) and programming as needed.

• Design and implement compelling and insightful data visualization in dashboards that drive powerful stories and influence decision making at the C-Suite level.

• Ensure all Analytics Products developed comply with applicable data privacy and governance requirements.

Strategic Development:

• Collaborate with HR senior leadership and our People and Workforce Analytics Translators to define and execute the development strategy of analytics products.

• Identify opportunities for improvements and automation within our existing development tools to align to Kyndryl’s strategy.

• Monitor industry trends and advancements in Analytics Development and Data Visualization to keep Kyndryl at the forefront of innovation.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Engage deeply with HR, operations, and leaders and People and Workforce Analytics Translators to understand the business needs and ensure the analytics products will drive Kyndryl’s success.

• Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

• Engage, excite, and translate insights on analytics innovations to senior leadership.

Who You Are

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience and skills:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Software Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 7+ years proven experience in a leadership role within data analytics and data visualization.

• 7+ years proven experience with Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms such as Microsoft Power BI (Fabric), Tableau, One Model and Workday PRISM.

• 10+ years of proven experience data analytics, data visualization and development of analytics products, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar development languages with applications to analytics.

• Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills to define business requirements in a dynamic environment.

• Enthusiasm to engage with a truly delightful group of humans spanning multiple backgrounds, areas of expertise and geographies to reach alignment.

• Bonus points for professional services experience, familiarity with people analytics and workforce management software and tools and knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
