As a Senior Actuarial Analyst on our Risk Sharing Pool Data Science team, you’ll transform complex data into strategic insights that drive real-world impact. By applying advanced analytics and predictive modeling, you’ll help shape key decisions and uncover opportunities for innovation. What You’ll Do:
Translate complex data into actionable insights to support Risk Sharing Pool strategies, long-term planning, and scenario analysis.
Design and implement advanced actuarial models to analyze Risk Sharing Pool performance, trends, and emerging risks.
Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to improve the accuracy and efficiency of predictive models.
Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, underwriters, and actuarial professionals to align analytical solutions with business objectives.
Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical partners, delivering timely, actionable recommendations that drive strategic decisions.
Foster innovation and continuous improvement by mentoring colleagues, sharing actuarial expertise, and contributing to the evolution of data science practices.
What You’ll Bring:
Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 CAS exams.
Minimum 3 years of P&C work experience.
Actuarial curiosity to learn and explore new solutions.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with software engineering best practices (e.g., modularity, code reuse, documentation).
Experience with SAS and VBA is an asset.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
A collaborative approach and eagerness to learn and grow within a high-performing team.
