Product Data Analyst, Data Insights (12 month Maternity Cover)

We are looking for a Product Data Analyst to lead efforts in providing valuable insights for our product, with a strong focus on experimentation and data-driven decision-making. 

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5+ years experience in product or growth analytics, preferably in high-scale B2C environments (gaming, entertainment, or consumer tech).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with analytics tools like Tableau, Amplitude, or Looker.
• Comfort with experimentation and causal inference (e.g. T-Test, uplift modeling, or regression).
• Strong business sense and storytelling—you can turn ambiguous data into crisp insights that drive decisions.
• Experience working cross-functionally with PMs, Engineers, Designers, and Data Scientists.
• You thrive in fast-paced, high-leverage environments and aren’t afraid to challenge assumptions.

Bonus points for:

• Experience in using Python data stack or R;
• Experience with conducting experiments, knowledge of using correct models and statistical tools;
• Experience in using Tableau or Amplitude;
• Experience in using Snowflake;

What You’ll Do

• Partner with Growth PMs and teams to identify and size key product opportunities across onboarding, personalization, activation, and retention.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests and quasi-experiments (e.g. holdout tests, pre/post analysis).
• Own end-to-end insight generation, from ad-hoc deep dives to recurring dashboards and growth metric tracking.
• Define core growth KPIs across user journeys (e.g. Reg→FTD, 4W Retention, TPD, Stickiness).
• Proactively monitor metric changes and alert product squads to anomalies or hidden opportunities.
• Drive clarity and storytelling through data to align stakeholders around growth priorities.
• Contribute to building a culture of data excellence within Growth—sharpen hypotheses, build scalable insight products, and push our org to think in growth loops and causality.
