About the Role

As a Senior Data Analyst on the Global Business Intelligence team, you are an analytics partner to the Strategy and Insights team. You’ll work on high-impact initiatives, improving your understanding of the business with the knowledge of data, workflows, methods and tooling to autonomously drive analysis and reporting.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll identify the right data sources, build data models from the ground up, and be responsible for the definition and tracking of key performance metrics. You’ll be responsible for delivering end-to-end data solutions that drive actionable insights and reporting.

Act as a go-to expert to FP&A, Accounting, and Strategy teams for data, analytics, reporting, methodology, and visualization. The Senior Data Analyst plays a key role in crafting the data and reporting landscape, mentoring junior team members and collaborating with BI peers to define, promote, and maintain analytics best practices.

To be successful in this role, we require strong data analytics skills, a consistent record in building and maintaining data pipelines and reporting solutions independently, preferably working closely with Finance and Data Engineering teams in a B2B software environment, and excellent communications and data storytelling skills!

What you’ll do here:

  • Independently lead the data lifecycle from ETL to analysis and reporting, delivering scalable solutions, ensuring data accuracy and continuously improving management reports, metrics, and workflows.
  • Act as a go-to data analytics person for senior business stakeholders in FP&A, Accounting, and Strategy to translate business needs into data solutions for analytical use and reporting.
  • Build and maintain self-service reports, while proactively educating and upskilling users on how to effectively apply them in their work.
  • Autonomously manage a broad range of stakeholders, from operational to senior managerial roles, closely collaborating with Finance, Data Engineering, and Product teams.
  • Perform regular and ad-hoc analyses and data extracts to support decision-making.
  • Independently run data analysis from scoping to implementation, applying suitable methodologies and translating findings into actionable insights.
  • Lead data governance efforts by implementing automated quality checks, maintaining metric definitions, and ensuring consistency, accuracy, and integrity across all reporting.
  • Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise, providing coaching, and promoting best practices across the BI team.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a B2B software or tech environment.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative or business field.
  • Strong SQL with demonstrated experience redefining raw data into core business and financial performance metrics. Python and statistical modeling skills are a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience with DBT to lead data workflows and pipelines; GitLab experience is a plus.
  • Proven knowledge of BI reporting tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.) with solid skills in data storytelling and visualization to drive strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrable ability to partner with multi-functional stakeholders to define key metrics, bring together requirements, and translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, etc.) and financial consolidation/automation is a plus.
  • Experience working with global FP&A, Accounting, Data engineering, and Product teams.
  • Agile and lean thinking, with a bias for action and a focus on delivering business results.
  • Superb communication skills with the ability to translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations in a fast-paced, multifaceted, high energy environment.
