AI Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and innovative AI Engineer to join our dynamic team at PCCW Global/Console Connect. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing AI applications that enhance our services quality, improve efficiency and customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI models and algorithms for operation and support applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define AI use cases.
• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and improve operational efficiency.
• Optimize AI models for performance and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in AI and machine learning.
• Test and validate AI solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Document processes and maintain comprehensive project records.
• Manage and support the AI Application to ensure highest availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years proven experience in AI/ML development, preferably in the technology and telecom industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, etc.
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Knowledge of LLM (e.g. Gemini, Llama, Open AI, etc.)
• Experience with data engineering tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, BigQuery, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision 
• Knowledge of telecom protocols and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
