Data Scientist Lead

#LI-LP1We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist Lead to leverage large datasets for identifying opportunities in product and process optimization. The ideal candidate will utilize models to evaluate the effectiveness of various strategies. This role requires a strong background in data mining, data analysis, data tools, model building and implementation, algorithm development, and simulation execution. A proven track record of driving business results through data-driven insights and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and functional teams are essential. The successful candidate will be passionate about uncovering data-driven solutions and partnering with stakeholders to enhance business outcomes. Strong management and leadership abilities are a must.

Your main duties in flying with us:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data science related business requirements.
• Identify and automate the collection of valuable data sources.
• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
• Analyze data to identify patterns and trends, translating them into actionable insights (e.g., through Tableau and presentations).Create advanced analytics models to address business needs.
• Recognize business needs and formulate hypotheses accordingly.
• Establish plans and monitor team performance.
• Develop, manage, and evaluate the team to achieve desired results.
• Build AI/ML models and the capability to improve and fine-tune AI/ML models.

Mandatory belongings that you must prepare:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Master and PhD’s degree is preferred.
• Solid understanding of data science and machine learning principles, with demonstrated experience in solving data science challenges.
• Experience working with diverse data types, including image, NLP, and time series data.
• Experience with productionalize LLM and GenAI, adept in RAG, MCP and LLM fine tuning.
• Understanding of the data discovery process to generate business insights.
• Experience with Cloud Technology, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in programming, preferably Python.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Creative, innovative, and possesses critical thinking abilities.
