About the Role:

This is an entry-level role and will suit a candidate who is passionate about data and analytics, wants to apply skills learned academically to real-world product challenges, and has an ambition to learn and grow in a collaborative team that takes a creative approach to analytics problem-solving.

Econometrics is a cornerstone of marketing science, but we continually expand the capabilities and outputs of what we deliver to our clients. This means we build our own in-house suite of products and services for our consultants to use, constantly looking to stay at the forefront of marketing consultancy. This role provides a unique opportunity to be part of a multi-faceted development team working across this modelling product range.

CLIENTS & COMMERCIALS:

This role will require you to learn a contemporary approach to analytics and development using a wide range of tools and systems.

Our agency analytics teams provide consultancy to a wide range of businesses, and they will be your core clients. Our products are only as good as the insights they help to drive for these clients.  Building quality, commercially valuable products will require that you begin to develop relationships not only within your immediate team but also across the agencies and the broader analytics community that you service.

TALENT & CULTURE:

We are looking for an organised, self-motivated and proactive individual who has the ability and desire to learn quickly through practical on-the-job experience.

You will be a collaborative team player who is willing to ask for help when needed. It is important to be comfortable in a development environment where you will have multiple stakeholders to satisfy, varying demands on your time, and plenty of distractions from the immediate work at hand.

You should be self-disciplined and able to deliver to a deadline with a solutions-focused, forward-thinking, and well-organised approach.

FUTURE GROWTH & PRODUCT:

Be collaborative - working with other developers, data scientists, and the wider analytics teams to help feed into the development of new approaches and techniques

It will also involve supporting senior team members of the product team in both building and democratising our product suite for our agency analytics teams. The expectation is that you will develop the skills to ensure all output is technically excellent and that our products are fit for purpose, consistent and accurate.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES

Experienced in data, analytics, statistics, econometrics, and/or modelling in some form and can demonstrate foundational skills needed to build the tools that can draw insights from data.

We don’t believe any one tool fits all but look for excellent use of a mix of R, SQL, Python, Excel, PowerPoint and other approaches.

Flexible Working

At Omnicom Media Group, we are committed to supporting flexibility for our people while fostering collaboration, innovation, and teamwork. We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely), to ensure that we meet the needs of both our people and our business, balancing the benefits of in-person connections with the flexibility of remote working.  Our standard working hours are 9:30 – 17:30, but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 – 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day, whether that’s in the office or working remotely. For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.

We encourage open conversations between our people and managers to help navigate high-need periods and individual circumstances. Our goal is to create an environment where people feel genuinely supported to do their best - both in their careers and in their lives outside of work.

We want everyone to make the most of the opportunity to shine and showcase your talents and we are happy to make adjustments in the recruitment process so you can be your best.
