What You’ll Do
- Gather, clean, validate, and organize large datasets from multiple sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Conduct regular and ad hoc data quality checks using both manual and automated methods.
- Collaborate with data entry, analytics, and business teams to ensure ongoing data integrity.
- Build reports and dashboards using tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
- Translate complex findings into strategic insights and clear business recommendations.
- Use statistical and predictive modeling techniques to inform decision-making (where applicable).
- Document analytical methods, data sources, and data management practices for reusability and transparency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience with:
- Data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel
- Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio
- Performing data analysis and producing actionable insights
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complexity
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and a solid understanding of data governance principles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in machine learning, predictive modeling, or advanced statistical analysis
- Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and database management
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
