WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

MGT is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to support data-driven decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data for clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with large datasets using tools like Excel, Python, and data visualization software. This role involves preparing clear reports and dashboards, collaborating with clients, and staying current on best practices in data analysis and project management.   • Support the monitoring, enhancement, and scaling of our RAG solution hosted on Microsoft Azure.
  • Collaborate in developing new features and improvements for our generative AI applications.
  • Assist in deploying NLP applications using LLMs for information generation and retrieval.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into institutional tools and services.
  • Conduct data preparation, transformation, and analysis using Python.
  • Contribute to the automation, logging, and documentation of machine learning workflows.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in LLMs, NLP, and Azure AI technologies.

 WHAT YOU’LL BRING: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Two (2) or more years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with a deep learning framework.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, or Azure Storage.
  • Experience working with LLMs or RAG frameworks through coursework or practical projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a desire to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical collaborators.
