Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Analyst to manage and optimize our Power BI environment, lead the design of cross-system semantic models, and maintain the integrity and governance of critical business data.

This role will be responsible for combining data from multiple enterprise systems (ERP, APS, and others) to deliver accurate, actionable insights across the organization.

The ideal candidate combines expertise in Power BI, strong SQL skills, cross-functional business understanding, and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of data governance, consistency, and quality.

This position reports to System and IT Corporate Manager. 

Responsibilities:   

· Administer and maintain the Power BI environment, including workspace management, access controls, and platform security.

· Design, develop, and maintain semantic models that unify data from ERP, APS, and other enterprise systems into business-ready insights.

· Define and implement business logic (KPIs, measures, calculated columns) that ensure consistent reporting and decision-making across departments.

· Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data across all datasets and reports, regardless of source system.

· Collaborate with Data Engineering and IT teams to manage multi-source data integration, ensuring data models align with operational and strategic needs.

· Create and maintain common master data and general parameters in ERP systems to support data consistency across platforms.

· Work cross-functionally with business units to enforce common data standards and ensure that data models accurately reflect business rules and processes.

· Monitor data quality, identify data integrity issues across systems, and proactively resolve discrepancies.

· Implement and enforce data governance best practices, including master data management, data lineage documentation, and quality control frameworks.

· Support data warehouse initiatives by validating structures, ensuring alignment to reporting and analytics needs.

· Optimize performance of datasets, reports, and dashboards for efficiency and scalability.

· Ensure security best practices, including role-based security and row-level security, are applied to all Power BI assets.

· Expert-level Power BI skills, including dataset development, advanced DAX, Power Query (M), and performance optimization.

· Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, validating, and optimizing data across multiple systems.

· Hands-on experience in building semantic models that integrate multiple data sources (ERP, APS, CRM, etc.) for reporting and analytics.

· Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, and business logic standardization.

· Experience working with ERP master data (e.g., customers, vendors, products) and supporting cross-system data consistency.

· Practical experience administering the Power BI Service: workspace setup, permissions, and deployment pipelines.

· Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail and data accuracy.

· Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical concepts clearly to business users.
