Description
The Implementation and Data Visualization Manager is responsible for all data visualization projects, along with the configuration and deployment of software integrations, systems, or processes within the organization. This role also involves working with the BI reporting team and collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to ensure that implementations meet business requirements and are completed on time and within budget.
Essential Functions:
Planning and Requirements Gathering
- Design and manage the development of interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Oversee the entire process of SaaS implementation for clients, including defining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Conduct training sessions for clients on effective use of SaaS products and provide post-implementation support.
- Develop and maintain documentation regarding SaaS implementation processes and client interactions.
- Coordinate and manage IT projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Acts as a liaison between IT and the business units.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Maintain and update IT documentation, including system configurations and procedures.
- Documents various workflows throughout the organization and develops a project plan to modernize the approaches.
- Gathers requirements and facilitate their implementation for software solutions, reports and visual dashboards.
- Works within the bounds of IT standards to develop business solutions using a combination of local IT capabilities and SaaS products.
Communication
- Create data visualizations that answer internal and external expectations.
- Uses organization approved applications to illustrate workflows within the organization.
- Maintains and communicates status for all open projects.
Execution
- Works with IT and other business units to track the status of projects.
- Participates in all aspects of our Agile development processes.
- Assists with the management of our change management processes.
- Adheres to established development standards and protocols.
- Works with our vendors to provide requirements.
Other Functions:
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications and Competencies:
Education
- 5 years of experience with product implementation and data visualization. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Knowledge and Experience
- Collaboration with staff/clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
- Installation, configuration, and customization of software or systems to meet specific business needs.
- Training and ongoing support to end-users to ensure they are comfortable and proficient with the new system.
- Testing system functionality, identifying and resolving issues that arise during the implementation process.
- Maintenance of detailed documentation of the system setup, configurations, and any changes made during the implementations.
- Communication with staff/clients and stakeholders to provide updates on the implementation process and address any concerns.
- Post-implementation support, including handling upgrades, maintenance, and potential system improvements.

- Ability to support a 24/7 mission-critical environment. May be required to occasionally work outside regularly scheduled hours and must adhere to specified emergency response times.
· Must be able to work from UWC offices in Rocky Hill, CT one day per week.

The Pay & Benefits: $100,000.00/Salary
Spanish- or Portuguese-speaking applicants who are hired and pass certification after 90 days on the job will get an additional $.75 per hour (an additional $1.50 per hour for both languages).
