New Horizons is the largest mental health and addiction recovery provider on the Treasure Coast (and beyond), serving 15,000 children and adults annually through inpatient crisis services, 24-hour help line and mobile response team, and outpatient programs conveniently located across Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties. In addition, New Horizons assists 22,000 students in area schools, and we work closely with the courts, law enforcement, jails, and hospitals to help improve the health of individuals and the quality of life in our community.


IT DATE TEAM ANALYST GENERAL SUMMARY

  • Maintain a working knowledge of applicable IT Policy and Procedures and HIPAA      Compliance.
  • Acts as backup to the IT data team supervisor
  • Attends meetings both electronically and in person as required
  • Serves as an agency backup expert on the EHR software system. 
  • Serves as an agency backup expert in SEFBHN’s Carisk software. 
  • Serves as an agency backup expert on state outcome measure processes and FASAMS.
  • Serves as an agency backup data and reporting expert for the EHR software system.
  • Serves as an agency backup expert on the QIT Database software. 
  • Serves as Data Team Supervisor backup and is willing to process the service and outcome data, as required to SEFBHN’s Carisk Data Portal as needed.
  • Works with the IT Director and Data Team Supervisor on data corrections, reloads, and submission processes.
  • Maintains integrity and security of submitted data
  • Serves as an agency backup expert on outcome forms training, reporting, and assistance. 
  • Participates as a member of the Managing Entity (SEFBHN) Data Workgroup.
  • Adheres to Agency, DCF and HIPAA compliance regulations and data requirements.
  • Serves as a backup expert in designing and maintaining electronic forms within      EHR System.
  • Uses the IT Department work order software to complete and track support tickets.
  • Assists IT Data Team Supervisor and IT Director with project implementations as needed.
  • Acts as backup to the Data Team Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with EHR data analysis
  • Software training 
  • EHR software applications support, including reports and tools
  • EHR project implementation
  • EHR forms design
  • HIPAA compliance
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • Works with minimal supervision
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel
  • Working knowledge of XML
  • Working knowledge of Notepad  
Salary Description $48,000.00
