Senior AI Project Lead (Technical)

We’re looking for an exceptional Senior AI Project Lead (Technical) to join our iGenius Team in Spain.

In this role you will be at the forefront of managing high-impact AI customer deployments, influencing cross-functional teams working on cutting-edge AI deployments including but not limited to agentic system development and foundational model deployment. You'll drive project execution from conception to launch, ensuring technical and business alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex AI customer deployments from presale to go-live.
• Partner with engineering, research, product, and business teams to deliver timely outcomes, serving as a single threaded owner of client engagement and escalation.
• Define milestones, allocate resources, manage budgets, and monitor risk, facilitating stakeholder communication, reporting, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and continuous delivery best practices, track and report project KPIs, supporting data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in technical projects or program management within software, AI, or infrastructure-heavy environments, preferably within the financial services domain.
• Strong technical background—experience in software engineering, ML systems, or DevOps/Infrastructure roles (not necessarily current, but enough to understand architecture and implementation trade-offs).
• Proven track record managing backend, infrastructure, or AI/ML/GenAI-related projects, ideally involving APIs, platform development, or cloud-native services.
• Working knowledge of common tools and stacks: Git, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to read technical documentation, participate in architecture reviews, and collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders alike. 
• Excellent project planning, risk management, and cross-functional communication skills across all levels of an organization, including but limited to C-level executives in financial services
• Fluency in Spanish and English required; Italian or any other European language a strong plus.
