UNDERSTANDING THE ROLE We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Business Intelligence team as a Business Analyst. This role will serve as the critical link between our Marketing and Business Intelligence departments, driving data-driven decision-making and enhancing our customer journey analytics.  RESPONSIBILITIES The Business Intelligence Analyst will dedicate focus to collecting, managing, and analyzing internal and external business data and translating trends into action-oriented reporting. This analyst will join a new and growing Business Strategy team and work with the VP, Business Intelligence, to manage all current and future business reporting needs. Key responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with the VP, Business Intelligence to develop Customer Journey analysis and Market Mapping analysis

• Developing and managing additional reports necessary to equip senior leaders with the insight necessary to guide marketing and business development strategies

• Contribute to the ongoing building and maintaining of a standard reporting library to be leveraged by all regional business teams

• Maintaining, updating, and ensuring the ongoing data integrity of the underlying data for a suite of business strategy dashboards and other interactive reports

• Supporting ongoing competitor analysis, external market data usage, and up-to-date industry intelligence

• Assisting with firm-wide compliance with data tracking and data-entry protocol

QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate combines an analytical mindset with strength in data visualization. Additional requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, analytics, data science, or related field

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst or related function

• Experience with program impact analysis or organizational development analytics preferred

• Passion for philanthropy and serving the nonprofit sector

• Experience with Power BI required

• Experience with HubSpot preferred

• Knowledge of SQL and Python preferred

• Previous experience in or with a nonprofit development office desire

• Knowledge of data collection and data management best practice

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment

SALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $90,000 The exact salary varies within range based on years of relevant experience and education.
