We are looking for a Data Engineer, who will help to build secure, easy-to-use data platform that helps our AI team find, ingest, and version data in hours—not weeks.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop robust batch and real-time data pipelines using CDC, ETL/ELT, and stream-first architectures to ensure efficient and scalable data processing
  • Take ownership of the data lake layout, including cataloging and managing lineage metadata using tools like Databricks and similar technologies
  • Automate data infrastructure using Terraform and Helm and implement CI/CD workflows for seamless deployment and maintenance of data pipelines
  • Establish and maintain data-quality validation processes, observability frameworks, and cost monitoring mechanisms to ensure reliable and efficient operations

What we are looking for:

  • Proficiency in Python and strong expertise in SQL
  • Experience with Apache Kafka, including event-driven design, topic partitioning, and stream processing fundamentals
  • Solid knowledge of Apache Airflow
  • Hands-on experience with storage services such as Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), or Azure Blob Storage
  • Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments

Nice-to-haves:

  • Familiarity with Rust or Go for developing high-throughput data connectors
  • Experience with event-driven design patterns and architectures
  • Understanding of GDPR and anonymization techniques for sensitive data handling
