Location: Proximity to CK Hub, Charlotte NC, Tempe AZ

Department: Digital Retail – LIFT Media

Reports To: Director, Digital Screens

Role Summary:
Highly analytical and business-savvy Data and Analytics Manager to lead the data operations and performance analytics function for our LIFT proprietary digital screen network. This role is critical in enabling data-driven decision-making across our in-store digital campaigns and optimizing the effectiveness of our digital engagement strategy. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in data architecture, business intelligence tools, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance the impact of digital screens on shopper engagement and retail media monetization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reporting Infrastructure Development

  • Design, build, and maintain a scalable reporting and analytics infrastructure for the LIFT digital screen platform, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility of performance data across campaigns.
  • Own the end-to-end data lifecycle — from ingestion to visualization — for all retail media KPIs associated with digital screens.
  • Lead governance practices to ensure alignment of data definitions and metrics across departments (Marketing, Media Sales, IT, and Operations).

2. Campaign Performance Analytics

  • Collaborate closely with the Campaign Planning and Retail Media teams to track, analyze, and report on campaign performance (e.g., impression delivery, screen uptime, CTR, dwell time).
  • Proactively identify trends and provide insights to optimize content delivery, targeting, and scheduling strategies for LIFT campaigns.
  • Create post-campaign reports to evaluate impact and recommend enhancements for future execution.

3. Technical Data Operations

  • Partner with third-party developers and internal IT to manage data validation, migration, cleansing, and integration processes between systems.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity across the LIFT media ecosystem, including CMS, data lake, and external attribution vendors.
  • Support technical implementation of tagging, event tracking, and metadata standardization for retail media content.

4. Dashboarding & Tool Enhancement

  • Lead enhancement of Power BI dashboards used by cross-functional stakeholders, improving speed, interactivity, and relevance.
  • Translate business questions into technical solutions that empower users with actionable insights.
  • Recommend improvements in data visualization and user experience, in coordination with the IT and Data Engineering teams.

5. Ad Hoc Analysis & Business Support

  • Support ongoing business needs with customized analysis, forecasts, or deep-dives into screen usage, shopper interaction, and campaign impact.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to business stakeholders by transforming data into business narratives and visual storytelling.
  • Provide training or onboarding sessions to key users of analytics dashboards and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering roles, preferably in retail, media, or consumer data environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI or similar tools (Tableau, Looker) with a portfolio of dashboards and reports.
  • Proficient in SQL; experience with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake) is strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of digital media metrics, retail performance KPIs, and data validation best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and translate data findings into strategic insights.
  • Experience with campaign attribution, media mix modeling, or screen-based analytics is a plus.
