As the Associate Director of Data Analytics, you will be responsible for supporting all functions across our four Business Units in the US and Canada (Retail US, Franchise and Insurance US, and Retail Canada) and Retail operations in seven Latin American Countries. The successful candidate will lead a talented team, drive the strategy and execution of data products, and ensure the harmonization and rationalization of data warehouses across the region. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage big data, drive informed business decisions, and provide holistic insights to propel Amplifon's growth.     

The ideal candidate is based in the Greater Dallas, Minneapolis, or Toronto metropolitan areas.

Qualifications in this role include, but are not limited to: 

  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, business, management information systems, computer science, or equivalent education/experience. 
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data, IT, business analysis, or analytics role.   
  • Proven experience (minimum 2-5 years) in a leadership role, managing, and developing technical teams, preferably in a global, matrixed environment.   
  • Demonstrated experience in data solution design, data modeling, and business intelligence.   
  • Experience with demand management, product ownership, and service delivery in a data context.   
  • Experience with data warehouse harmonization and rationalization projects.  

Technical experience: 

  • Strong understanding of data architecture, ELT pipelines, and cloud-based data lakehouses.   
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (preferably GCP) and modern data stack technologies (e.g., dbt, Airflow, BigQuery).  
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Dataiku, Looker Studio).   
  • Expertise in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).   
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, data integration, and ETL/ELT orchestration. 

 

Preferred Experience and Skills: 

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including C-level.  
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical designs and effectively prioritize workload.  
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment, proactive, flexible, and able to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.  

Compensation: Based on qualifications we anticipate the hiring range will be $150,000 to $165,000 USD, in addition to annual bonus. If position is based in Canada, compensation in CAD will be identified.
