We are looking for a curious and impact-driven Applied Data Scientist to rapidly test business hypotheses, develop a robust “model zoo,” and uncover high-ROI use cases that justify strategic investment. This role bridges rigorous experimentation with real-world outcomes, enabling data-backed decision-making across the organization.
What you will be doing:
- Design and execute experiments including A/B tests and causal inference studies
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering
- Build reproducible research pipelines
- Translate analytical insights into clear, actionable narratives
What we are looking for:
- Proficiency in Python (including Pandas, PyTorch or JAX, Hugging Face, Prophet, XGBoost)
- Experience in SQL for data querying and aggregation
- Experience JupyterLab or VS
Nice-to-haves:
- Background in causal inference methodologies
- Experience with RLHF (Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback) and Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning (PEFT)
- Exposure to synthetic data generation techniques
- Experience in domain-specific computer vision, including tools like YOLOv8 or GroundingDino
- Understanding of secure, on-premises inference environments
