Job Description

The Mobility Aftermarket division (MA) provides the aftermarket and repair shops worldwide with modern diagnostic and repair shop equipment and a wide range of spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. About 16,000 associates, as well as a global logistics network, ensure that spare parts reach customers quickly and on time. MA supplies testing and repair-shop technology, diagnostic software, service training, and information services. In addition, the division is responsible for the “Bosch Car Service” repair-shop franchise, one of the world’s largest independent chains of repair-shops.

The Karlsruhe location has been the headquarters of the Bosch Mobility Aftermarket division for over 40 years.

  • You will be a part of a dynamic team to create Analytics and Business Impact with the use of big data to accelerator data driven business. 
  • As Big Data & Business Analyst you will focus on big data analysis, data science, automation, preparation of management reports to the Board and Product Areas including business implementation.
  • Furthermore, you will be developing customer-oriented digital solutions worldwide and/or internal and external partners with focus on data. You will create Business Impact based onto data by driving implementations & execution.
  • In additional to these tasks, you want to understand and analyze data in combination with business needs to generate business value. You also see creating something new as a chance to learn and improve. 
  • Also, you are asked to implement reliable digital data services worldwide to improve MA’s effectiveness in an increasing digital business environment.
  • Finally, you will be preparing dashboards e.g. PBI with an easy understandable storyline.         

Qualifications

  • Education: completed university degree (Masters/Diploma/PhD) in information technology, computer science, economics or a comparable subject
  • Experience and Knowledge: you have several years of professional experience in data analysis, preparation and automation, then it is you we are looking for; Python, R, SQL, ETL, Power BI are more than buzzwords; Cross functional know-how (controlling, production, logistic and marketing) is a plus
  • Personality and Working Practice: you are a strong team player and interested in agile collaboration with colleagues from other domains; You have strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to create clear and compelling lines of argument and storylines with focus on solution and execution; You are structured in your approach; Your strengths include analytical skills and the ability to work with high code quality; You are intercultural and open-minded with an entrepreneurial mindset; You have a structured, self-organized, solution-oriented and proactive way of working
  • Enthusiasm: you have passion for innovations in digital topics; You have a strong interest in understanding our customers (Bosch Product Areas and governance departments), their demands and opportunities
  • Languages: very good communication skills in written and spoken English
