Power BI Specialist

Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Power BI Specialist to join our dynamic team at ILIAS Solutions. As a Power BI Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and create data models, visualizations, and reports that help our clients optimize their business performance.

Your mission

• Power BI Development: Design, develop, and implement interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide meaningful insights for clients.
• Data Modeling: Create efficient, scalable data models using Power BI, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for reporting and analytics.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, etc.) into Power BI, ensuring seamless data flow and transformation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, ensuring that Power BI solutions meet business objectives and KPIs.
• Optimization & Performance: Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance, ensuring they can handle large data sets with minimal delays.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and validation of reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
• Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI best practices, dashboard navigation, and report customization.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for Power BI reports, data models, and related processes to ensure transparency and ease of handover.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends, recommending and implementing improvements in data analytics processes.

Your capabilities

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or Power BI Specialist, with a solid portfolio of developed dashboards and reports.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Report Server.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to data and reporting.
• Functional admin experience
• Knowledge of best practices in Power BI design and development.
• Familiarity with other BI tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, ETL processes) is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and business users.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Fluent in Dutch & English.
