Position Title: Senior Data Analyst Specialist – Coupang Global Security (Taiwan)

Coupang Global Security (CGS) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst Specialist to support our growing data and analytics needs. This role is critical in enabling data-driven decision-making across our global security operations, with a strong focus on supporting the Taiwan-based team.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about data, experienced in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights, and proficient in building intuitive dashboards and visualizations that drive operational excellence.   Key Responsibilities

 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret data to support security operations and strategic initiatives.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
• Translate business requirements into data models and visualizations that provide clear, actionable insights.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Support the Korea-based Global Security team with timely and accurate data reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting platforms.
• Automate recurring reports and streamline data workflows to improve efficiency.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
• Maintain documentation of data sources, methodologies, and dashboard logic for transparency and reproducibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience working in a global or cross-cultural team environment is a plus.
• Intermediate spoken and written English.

Preferred Skills & Tools

• Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and data pipeline tools.
• Knowledge of security operations or risk management data is a plus.
• Experience with KPI development and performance tracking.
