An exciting opportunity to accelerate the delivery of innovative digital solutions in Deloitte’s Strategy, Risk & Transaction (SR&T) business, which covers a diverse portfolio including M&A, Infrastructure & Capital Projects, Asset Management, Turnaround & Restructuring and Strategy & Economics Advisory. About our Team

We are small but dynamic team of software developers, data scientists and transformation experts working focussed on bringing the latest technology to Corporate Australia’s most complex strategic problems. We are responsible for the delivery of complex, analytically driven business solutions used by Deloitte and client teams to derive superior insights.

As a full stack developer on our team, you will work closely with a variety of stakeholders and a wider technical community to deliver on a challenging and exciting agenda.

What will your typical day look like?

You will work with a team of driven individuals to develop and deploy a range of analytical applications. Reporting directly to the SR&T Lead Architect, you will form part of SR&T’s Developer Tribe. You will use your technical expertise to support the development of existing and new solutions in partnership with the business.

Core functions and immediate responsibilities:

• Working with Deloitte business experts to design, code, test and deploy scalable and robust web based analytical applications using .NET (C#, ASP.Net, .NET Core) and Python
• Supporting existing solutions by understanding the current architecture and finding ways to optimise performance / reduce cost
• Working with data specialists on the team to build solutions that integrate diverse data sources (databases, APIs, cloud platforms) to enable real-time analytics, reporting and insights
• Integrating robust .NET frameworks with Python based data analytics and machine learning capabilities
• Developing interactive user interfaces using React.
• Working in an Agile environment to adapt and quickly react to rapidly changing conditions
• Applying critical reasoning to define and manage requirements, review, refine and present solutions, issues, risks and implement corrective action with stakeholders in a collaborative manner
• Developing effective working relationships with stakeholders in IT Services, SR&T practitioners, and external parties such as vendors where required
• Defining, promoting, and leveraging best practises for development
• Utilising creative thinking and innovation to solve problems quickly
