BI Developer

Role summary:
As a BI Developer, you will take ownership of designing and optimising data structures to ensure critical engineering and asset data is accurate, usable, and actionable across nuclear projects.

What you will be doing:

• Designing robust SQL-based solutions to support engineering and operations
  
  
• Optimising data performance for reliability and scalability
  
  
• Translating raw data into actionable insights for key stakeholders
  
  
• Supporting dashboarding and data delivery with a user-first mindset
  
  
• Collaborating with engineering teams to understand data context
  
  
• Ensuring consistency, quality, and usability of key datasets
  
  

Formal qualifications or training:

• Proven SQL design and optimisation expertise
  
  
• Strong BI development experience (Power BI or similar tools)
  
  
• Ability to work hands-on across structured and unstructured data
  
  
• Understanding of engineering or asset management data (desirable)
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and stakeholder collaboration skills
  
  
• Degree in computer science, data, engineering, or related field
